On A Different Note

Attention: The following blog entry will differ from the previous ones that had seem to jolly plunge all my readers into a state of frenzied questioning about just what is going on with my life. In other words, stop asking me what had happened and pretend you have never read the couple of previous entries before. Except for the one about Nicole's birthday dinner.

Whatever.

The month of May has kicked in. Well, HAD kicked in to be more precise. It's the 19th of May people! Just a month and three more days till we hit jackpot! The Semester Exams!

It is getting colder here in this freak city of Australia. And I don't like it one bit. But when it gets too hot to the point of being unbearable, I complain about the heat. I know, I'm totally self contradicting. But I don't heck care.

Anyway.

My life has gone pretty smooth so far. No blood-thirsty enemies seeking vengeance, no back-stabbing assholes coiling up around me, no minuscule problems troubling my everyday life, no worrying for what to have dinner next and the list goes on and on.

I am beginning to extend my tendrils of friendship all over Trinity. Meeting new people each and everyday is really an exciting thing to do. Blossoming friendships built upon everyday lunch sessions really help me get most of the stress off my mind, not that I have a lot of stress to begin with.

Despite the previous rantings that I had on knowing people who mostly hail from either Malaysia or Singapore, I am beginning to experience, first-hand, the fun of getting to know people from other more, how should I put it? EXOTIC. Countries. As mentioned in the previous post, my geographical coverage of friends now extends to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Fiji, Bahrain, Australia, Spain, Mexico, Thailand and China.

Put simply, I'm traveling around with the United Nations nowadays.

Digressing from that, I would like to make a plea to all who chanced upon my blog. I urge you all to pray for the rapid recovery of Vanessa Ong, the aid efforts in Myanmar after that devastating Cyclone, and of course for the souls of the departed and the safety of the living in China who had just experienced a destructive earthquake.

Pray hard!

And some news to friends in Malaysia, Cristian Roberto Salas Tovar, or just, Cristian, the student exchange from Mexico who studied back in SMK Sri Sentosa, MIGHT be visiting Australia during July and MIGHT be flying to Melbourne! How cool is that? *sniggers at Wei-Jan*

I know, I'm like totally lovable.

I tried very hard to believe in you again. You promised not to take us for granted anymore. But you repeat the same mistake once again. I am heartbroken.
