No greater harm can be inflicted upon a person's heart, when you are so close to the one you love, only to have them holding their own loved ones in their hands.
To witness all that, is nothing less than the most heart-wrenching moment in a person's life. Still, a part of you is torn away from all that. You feel happy, seeing that person being in such a joyous state, embracing their loved ones. You wish you can be in their arms, or they can be in your arms. But you know, they fare better without you.
You have to pull a strong face, especially when your loved one has fallen for a friend.
However, amidst all that confusion and misery, you decide to let go. Though your love may bleed profusely, you know that is the only way for your wound to heal. Instead of suppressing that wound, let the blood flow, bringing all that poison with you. Soon, you will find yourself reborn.
And life, starts anew. Hope kicks in, and you move on. =)
