Of Chinese New Years, Angpaus, and What-nots

So you thought I died and ascended to the heavens during this brief period of absence from the blogosphere.

Damn you, you have forgotten that I am akin to a God, and hence will not die and need not ascend to heaven in order to become a God.

Right. Roll your eyes all you want but you cannot deny the truth.

Alright, alright. Happy Chinese New Year to all you pitiful mortals. If you know me well enough, you'd know I proclaim to the whole world of my own godliness almost everyday. This just adds in a little flavor to life don't you think?

Anyway, Chinese New Year was very, chinese? I don't know. Couldn't find a suitable word/phrase/sentence to describe it. It's just like every other Chinese New Years I've experienced, only this time, people were talking about my overseas experiences.

Angpaus were given as usual despite the economic recession and the bankruptcy of Iceland's government. Mahjong sessions as usual in hopes of garnering even more than what we receive in our angpaus. And of course, late late Mamak hangouts with the cousins. God I miss them, and how much they've all grown.

17 days till I get back to Melbourne, this I can't wait. I have so many plans for the year and so many things I wish to accomplish. Let's hope I'll be able to stick to my resolutions this year. Prioritizing will be a big factor this year if I wish to tackle every single thing I have in mind.

And....

*heaves a sigh*

Izzie, Nicole, Li-Shen, Ryan, Sha, Ethel, Jun Jing, Carmen, Yee Hooi, Michele, Alai, Tiffany, Adrienne, Henry, Mojo and the people whom had given me such a wonderful experience last year...

*in no particular order okay? Don't get jealous or anything, and if your name ain't in there, then it's in the 'people whom had given me such a wonderful experience' bunch*

I FUCKING miss you guys.

Phew. Whatever. Gloat all you want now. I'm off to WOW.
