Of Love, Friendship and Family

Love, friendship and family. They, like molecules in Chemistry, like Dynamics in Physics, and like Body Systems in Biology, and like Formulae in Maths, Grammar in Languages, play an integral part in our everyday life.

We can not live a day without at least one element from the above. Be it being in love with someone, hanging out with friends, or catching up with one of your relatives or two.

Loving someone, is not having them by your side each and every single moment. Loving someone, is wanting them to be happy, wanting to know that all is well with them, and wanting to know that you have a special part in their lives. Remember that.

Friendship, is a bond shared between two individuals who share no blood ties. Friendship is easy to forge, hard to keep. Easy to break, hard to mend. Easy to find, hard to last. Easy to spell, hard to forget. Friendship, is by far, what I value most in my life. And the value I place on it even surpasses that of the one I placed on love.

Family. An institution of inter-related members sharing same blood ties and background. They are the ones who know you the best. They are the ones who will care for you even when the world gives up on you. Treasure them.

Time flies so fast and things happen out of control all the time. We can never predict the future, so never wait to tell your loved ones just how much you love them, never hesistate to tell your friends just how much they mean to you, never for a moment doubt to say how much you appreciate your family members.

Treasure the people around you, for when the world comes to an end, they might be the only treasure you have left.
